From flex player to troll one trick, the life cycle

Just use the LFG option. I was a main tank player and steadily cruising up the ranks, I stopped playing for a few weeks while I was busy and used almost all of my spare time editting my yt videos and when I came back to OW my tank play was dreadful. I lost a bunch, dropped some ranks but realised that I could almost carry on Doomfist, Hanzo and Mei

So now whenever I play OW I go on LFG, stick myself on a flex role and ask for 2 tanks, 2 healers and another offence hero. I don't lock the roles, but people are 95% of the time happy to play what they selected and I'm having a great time. I still play my main tanks occasionally, but I now have more control of which heroes I get to play.

My favourite part of OW is the teamwork required, I was always the most vocal player in my school and uni sports teams and on OW I'm no different. Playing a game for a team is so much better than playing just for myself and for that reason i absolutely despise one-tricks because it's a selfish way to play the game. But if you use the LFG option, suddenly it's not selfish any more because the people you play with choose to play with your one-tricking instead of being blindsided by it.

So, basically, use LFG and you'll have a great time.
