Froome considering an "Acceptance of Consequences" (5-6 month backdated ban – would lose Vuelta and Worlds bronze) to avoid possibility of longer ban

I think that this is desperate PR to avoid a 2 year ban. Basically, he can't replicate those results in a laboratory, so he's starting to act as if he's doing everyone a favor by accepting this smaller ban.

I wonder how many fanboyish people will eat this.

Froome is by far my favorite GT rider after Lance, but you can't even be remotely competitive in modern sports without PEDs. It's just the way it is. And since we are playing this useless hypocrite game of some dumb fucks not wanting to deal with the truth, well... we have to play the same game for everyone.

Froome has to be banned, otherwise he has special treatment by the UCI. How much for the ban? If he's "innocent", maybe a year. He still had an advantage, after all.

Anyway, I don't blame Froome. 100% of this is on the UCI and that stupid segment of fans that is still using "doper! Cheater!" as arguments. Like, I understand being ignorant about this before the internet, but nowadays? It's just stupidity and laziness.

There's not a single piece of evidence that anyone can be even remotely competitive without PEDs in many sports, professional cycling included. We know how testing works. We know how these organizations work.

Either ban the palmares of any "great" champion or let everything be... Lance won 7 tours far and square and would have destroyed any previous GT "legend" besides, maybe, Jonny Froome.
