In this week’s post I had decided to feature another character and class: Garmack, the warrior! According to Garmack, this transmog had been inspired by barbarian-esque style with frosty regions taken into account. This will be the first plate armor set I feature on this blog, and I am very excited to present it to all of you.
Shoulder: “Grievous Gladiator’s Plate Shoulders” – These shoulders are a set item that can be gotten for honor and bought at the Alliance honor gear seller in Pandaria. Equivalent but with different coloring can be found for Horde at the Horde honor gear vendor in Pandaria.
Cape: “Frostguard Drape” – This cape can either be bought on the auction house or made by a tailor with a skill of over 400. This cape is cool for this mog because of its fur-drape look. It gives it the barbarian feel.
Chest: “Chestplate of the Steadfast” – This used to be bought for justice points back when people used to run instances for justice points to buy gear. Now, however, this piece can be easily bought in Stormwind or Ogrimmar for 239 gold.
Weapon MH: “Quel’delar, Might of the Faithful” – This sword is a bit of work to get. To get this you need to get “The Battered Hilt” from the ICC heroic dungeons. The problem is that this hilt has a less than 1% drop chance from random mobs in ICC heroics. You can only run a heroic once a day, however there is a way around this. The best thing to do is to go into Pit of Saron and not kill any bosses. That way you will be able to farm for the hilt without being saved for the heroic so that you could do it multiple times.
Weapon OH: “Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Decapitator” – Garmack went for two different weapons to avoid “Symmetry.” According to Garmack, this helps him achieve the desired barbaric look that he was going for. This axe is also rather easy to get. You can buy it for honor points in Stormwind honor gear vendor. This axe costs 1700 honor points.
Hands: “Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Plate Gauntlets” – This is also an honor gear piece that can be bought for honor at the Stormwind honor gear vendor.
Belt: “Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Girdle of Prowess” – This piece of gear, like the hands, can be bought for honor at the honor gear vendor in Stormwind.
Legs: “Grievous Gladiator’s Plate Legguards” – This is a different piece of gear that can also be bought for honor. However, unlike the previous, this set must be bought in Pandaria at the honor gear vendor.
Feet: “Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Warboots of Alacrity” – These boots can be bought for honor points at the honor gear vendor in Stormwind.
This set is quite easy to achieve, except for the battered hilt weapon! Most of it is a mixed and matched set of different PvP gear sets. Be the barbaric warrior you were born to be!
