ftm. Anatomy scan in a week! being this anxious normal?

It’s always felt like the highest-stakes one for me (although I could see the early ones being really scary for people who’ve lost a baby). You’re halfway through, it is feeling really real, and it’s checking for so many points of failure or concern.

On the other side, it’s one of the coolest scans, I think. You see so many details, and there’s enough room to see so much of the baby (later they’re so big that it’s all kind of squished parts). Even at my third one, I couldn’t believe how BONY the baby was! She was doing yoga poses! It was awesome! There’s a lot to look forward to, and no way to change anything they will find (usually just a healthy baby!), so perhaps try to feel that excitement rather than worrying, if you can.
