FTM Induction Advice

I was induced with a Foley cath at 1 cm when I was 38+5. the insertion is painful but no worse than moderate contractions (for whatever that's worth!). I'd never had braxton hicks or any prelabor signs so I'd never experienced that type of pain before and it was enough to convince me i needed an epidural (which I'd been heavily on the fence about) before it got actually painful. the rest was easy! if you're really lucky the balloon will fall out when you pee and you'll have to fish it out of the toilet. honestly, I feel weird saying this but I thought induced labour was great, it shaved a lot of pain and uncertainty off my labour experience.
