I like your spirit, but I’m not going to pretend the Patriots don’t represent a much bigger obstacle to the Steelers getting their 7th super Bowl than any other team in the AFC. I don’t care if they go through new England to get it, or if they don’t, I just want to win it. I don’t feel it’s necessary to beat the patriots to justify a ring. The Steelers can absolutely, 100 percent, beat the patriots. So don’t get me wrong. I just want the best odds. Anyone can beat anyone in the playoffs - we could even lose to the Bills. I don’t see why anyone around here is pretending understand why the patriots would be easier path. Let’s not lie to ourselves.
