Fuck Finland, one of the worst countries to live in

The conscription. Every male here has to go to the army at age 18. How is this still acceptable?

Hey man, I don't know anything about how Finland works. I do sympathize with you but honestly, As an American in my mid-30's, One of my biggest regrets is not joining the military. I don't know you or how old you are or your situation but I can tell you with absolute certainty that at my age, I am completely envious of my friends with military service under their belt. It opens up job/schooling opportunities (in the U.S. only ofcourse) that I drool over. It builds personality and teaches life lessons. You will make friends for life that you would never know otherwise.

Assuming that you are about to do your time in the military, I know you don't see it now but just my $0.02, You will likely look back on it with awesome memories. And lets be honest here, You're not in the U.S. and you're NOT going to die in the sandbox/russia anytime soon. Again, I'm not saying I really agree with it being forced but I think in time you will appreciate all the friends/life-lessons/skills you will walk away with.

I don't know if this helped at all...
