I fucked up badly on omegle, when asking for advice on another sub I was told it's more than likely the common underage girl scam but some details leave me sceptical

Wouldn't the scam make more sense to start by saying they're 18+ then baiting saying they're a minor after, and why would the ages be inconsistent, in all cases of the scam I've read they never did this.

Since you're a minor, not really. You admitted yourself "since we're close in age I felt comfortable".

-On a new snap account I looked up their profile and it's still up, I'm not sure but wouldn't scammers move on to another account or delete the one they used after baiting someone?

  • No, they're still trying to blackmail you and many others who fell for the scam by appearing real. Proof it works; you're still falling for it.

-The scam primarily is South Carolina from what I know but their username suggested they're in the London area, idk if the scam exists here.

  • This is a global scam. They may well be on the other side of the world. I can tell you I'm in the North Pole but that doesn't make me Santa. Especially if they don't bother calling and just use text, because you'd likely pick up on an accent and bad English.

just some clarification would put me at ease.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you shouldn't feel at ease, you didn't just send nudes. Underage nudes is what you sent. Ultra-mega-stupid. Seriously, stop, or at least wait until you're not doing something criminal when you do it. Stop admitting to the crime online, too.
