"IT'S FUCKING COMIC BOOK MOVIES, YOU FUCKING CULTURAL MARXIST DOUCHEBAG. IT'S NOT A FUCKING CIVIL RIGHTS ISSUE . STOP MAKING IT ONE." Age of Ultron is not the only Marvel battle you'll want to bring popcorn to!

Hey man, I stand by it. Dude started talking about the "inequalities of the status quo" as if comic book movies have any meaningful relationship to that.

Inequalities of the status quo in comic book movies. Abuh?

And not just in comic book movies, but inequalities in the status quo in the output of one studio over seven years. What the fuck is that nonsense? Who talks like that?

If there is such a thing as cultural marxism, then that is definitely cultural marxism. These little wanna-be cultural commissars out to make sure nobody makes anything that isn't in line with their skewed concept of social justice.

I mean really, think about what these people are actually seriously arguing. They call anyone who disagrees a misogynist -- a hater of women -- yet this is literally the position they are taking:

The Disney Company was researching their demographics and noticed while Disney had huge market appeal with girls (Princesses, Disney Channel, etc.), and they were selling tons of merchandise to girls, they weren't capturing the boy market. They wanted to diversify and expand to broader market. They saw they were leaving money on the table and went to reach for it.

Towards this end, Disney bought Marvel (and LucasArts, but let's focus on Marvel). The purpose of the Marvel acquisition was to expand Disney market by creating properties that appealed to boys.

This, according to these idiots, is sexist and misogynistic because they didn't aim to expand their already huge female audience with these movies right away, and instead tried to balance their female audience with a male audience.

This is literally what they are arguing: That by trying to appeal to girls and boys, Disney is being sexist and misogynistic. For Disney to not be misogynistic, it must apparently only appeal to girls.

This is the inequalities in the status quo that asshat is referring to. After 20 years of steadily building a female audience (starting roughly with the release of Little Mermaid), Disney tried to expand and build a male audience, and that is an inequality in the status quo that must be railed against, and anyone who says "maybe its not" is automatically a woman-hating douchebag.

But you know what?

ITS FUCKING COMIC BOOK MOVIES.

For fuck's sake. These people need to get a grip on reality.
