Fucking pay us!

The idea that minimum wage dosen't need to be raised only works if businesses are rely competing for employees. Unemployment would have to be incredibly low and the demand for unskilled labor very high. With many jobs being replace by machines now and with far more to come there will be lower and lower demand for the labor making a high minimum wage that much more important. People act like a 2$ an hour increase will cause them to switch to a robot but the company was going to switch as soon as it was feasible anyways and the price of a robotic replacement in going down incredibly fast. The growth rate of technology is what will make the difference not a small wage increase.
