Full body workout on alternate days

If you are looking to build muscle, and you are doing this workout every other day with weekends off, then you aren't pushing yourself hard enough. If it only take you ONE day to recover from an extreme full body workout like what you listed, that means you aren't going to failure and pushing yourself, which is key to training weights and building muscle.

That's where all the "after leg day" memes come in. It's not that leg day is harder than bicep day, it's that you push yourself until those muscles are caput for the day, and it just so happens that you need legs to walk.

You get what I'm saying here? Push yourself harder, more rest days. Otherwise, split it up at least to "upper body" and "lower body" to maximize gains.
