Look I'm a New Zealander we have a more upfront way of dealing instead of this tattling to other people. Call it cultural differences but OP just seemed like a child when she went tattling to her husband who then decided to go tattle to the BF instead of going to the GF and sorting shit out on her/their own.

Seriously, how hard is it to knock on a door, talk to the GF and sort what ever the issues out is instead of just being whiny cunt. Would've been solved a lot quicker then waiting for a police survey to show up to 'get back' at the neighbor. Not exactly sure what it solved except OP's urge for revenge, which yeah is a thing but the problem of her neighour mocking her child was never resolved. Great job. Nothing was accomplished except possibly starting a feud, great mature handling of the issue.

This is the thing about this 'revenge' story, the initial problem wasn't even dealt with. The ones where someone is scammed/ripped of off some money then they get the cunt out of business is solid revenge because the issue is fixed and you got revenge on top.

The ones with shit heads bosses who get fired for being a shit head is revenge and problem solved. This is just, I dunno this just doesn't resolve anything so it feels hollow because it was just vindictive and not pro revenge.
