Fungus that turns ants into zombies adapted to climate by modifying its victim behaviour. Once infected it forces the host’s nervous system to march up a tree to grab a leaf in its jaws. The ant dies but remains locked in place. The fungus bursts through its head spreading spores

Just joking. We have twins, and one day my wife was taking them to the pediatrician for their first year checkup. People can’t not talk to parents of twins, so my wife found herself in a conversation with a woman who was struggling to remember a news article about a psychologist who was forcing boy/girl twins to have sex with each other under the guise of “therapy.”

Longish story shorter, she was misremembering an episode of SVU.

I only played the Law and Order card because I definitely remember an episode where a husband had committed some terrible crime due to an active toxoplasmosis infection messing with his head because of an active HIV immunodeficiency due to infidelity.

Ahhhhh, good times.
