If she’d found evidence and he dismissed it it might be, but not all lying is gaslighting

You can’t just invent a new buzzword for lying then claim any one who lies is abusive.

I think it cheapens/diminishes her very real pain by having you act as some kind of fucked up, pain olympics, gatekeeper by saying it’s not as legit as “actual abuse”.

And I think it cheapens the physical pain (and sometimes death) that women face from abusers to pretend that getting pummeled by your husband is the same as being told “no no me and Buffy are just good friends!”

But hey, I guess we need to factor in that these are a rich white woman’s feelings before we decide if her sad feelings should be put in the same category as being battered.
