When I was pregnant with my first I had the worst morning sickness. I literally burst the blood vessels in my eyes from the velocity and frequency of my vomiting.. once, when I was running for the toilet I slipped and gave myself a black eye on the side of the toilet bowl. That, accompanied with the burst blood vessels in my eyes made it look like someone was beating me. I tried to lie because I was embarrassed about the toilet bowl/black eye situation.. but the lie made it sound like it had to have been a partner. SO I had to explain to everyone for literally weeks that, no, my partner did not beat me.. I just slipped face first into the toilet. It was so embarrassing no one doubted me.

With this pregnancy, the worst is when I got my foot caught, falling sharply onto my hip. I wet myself due to the force of the impact in public. I couldn’t go home so just had to continue on for the rest of the day. You couldn’t tell but I was mortified.
