Let's forget for a moment that what they are claiming is ruining his life is a dispassionate examination of serious allegations.

If I was deeply concerned about an allegation ruining someone's life, I would not be jumping up and down shouting about how THIS IS RUINING HIS LIFE!!!!!!

Clearly the aim is to elevate the damage of an allegation above the actual experience of being assaulted.

And because these allegations can never be proven (even if the man in question rocks up to a microphone and freely admits - in front a witness - to routinely assaulting women in the same way his accusers have described) HOW DARE these women ruin men's lives by speaking up.

But - I hear you say - Donald Trump became president after over a dozen such allegations surfaced, how is that ruining his life?
