We have food programs, unemployment benefits, and many other welfare programs to help people too - some of the best in the world actually. You can also walk into any hospital in America and receive treatment, by law. You CANNOT be turned away if you cannot pay. Yes, you need to have a job in America in order to afford private health insurance. But what kind of job you have and how much money you want to make is up to you as an individual. Taking money from someone who earned, and giving it to someone who hasn't, is theft.

And why do you think that every CEO or anyone in charge of insurance companies is "ripping off sick people?" Do you think that everyone is evil and wants to do others harm? This is a typical and ridiculous idea that lots of Socialists think. They earned their position just like anyone else.

What has made America the strongest and most desirable nation in the world is Capitalism, and all the freedom that comes with being an American. So I'm not sure why you think we need to change things now...
