It could be fair to say that the healthier thing to do is responsibly avoid pregnancy in the first place. If pregnancy is not an option, then it's probably best to not do the ONE THING that causes pregnancy, or take steps to prevent pregnancy from occurring in the first place. I understand your concern, though I suggest you also be concerned about the rampant casual sex that not only results in unwanted pregnancies but also unhealthy relationships across younger generations.

I get it, nothing is fool proof other than abstinence (although the bible says even that isn't 100% effective..) but sexual irresponsibility (on both participants!) is the cause, unwanted pregnancy is just a symptom. People taking care of themselves gets rid of the symptom.

you don't have to be pro-choice or pro-life to be pro-personal responsibility, and there is a logical argument that could be made about abstinence and monogamy that has nothing to do with religion.

Pro-choice is fine, but that choice should be to be responsible about with sex. eliminating the need for abortion is a far better than banning it.
