The future of music listening.

A music recording is nearly infinitely reproducible

The intellectual copyright of any creative person is "infinitely reproducible", and for a very good reason we decide that intellectual copyright is worth protecting via laws in our society. If you think that intellectual property should not be protected because it is "infinitely reproducible", then that is a very strange sentiment. But since you clearly value living in a world with easy access to a wide variety of music, I have to speculate that you do value artists' work being protected from intellectual theft from other artists and business entities. So it would stand to reason that using this argument in favor of duplicating music for consumers also doesn't work.

Or why should we abolish a person's right to control their own intellectual product?

Tyrannical Disney laws set aside, do you really think you deserve to reproduce Mickey Mouse in 1940 just because you can?
