To be completely honest, white people in South Africa are often better-off than most black people who still live in slums. But the fact is that such a policy actually hurt the country - all the educated & rich people fled South Africa, whilst the white people who stayed are middle & lower class (and lower class white is better than lower class black to be honest).
Khoisans were indeed there amongst other groups in what is today South Africa - what I meant is that, the very basis of South Africa is The Cape and all the South Coast and this part was really sparsely inhabited. Like America, the population stayed inland (and was also pushed there).
Though there were no extermination of black people in South Africa. I really love Cecil Rhodes and I think he can be applauded. He tried to reunite both "races" and expanded South Africa peacefully. I think that actually the problems became after South Africa independence & therefore the Boers coming back to power (because this land is also theirs for generations, they tended to be very racist).
But I still rest my point: the ANC is culprit of many things. Its policies degraded the life expectancy (AIDS "helped" too) of people, the electric grid is as bad as ever & it's still really populated by some really shady people. Even Nelson Mandela has a pretty weird past, though it was before being elected president.
Also, I hate pan-africanism. I find it's actually really racist against Africans, because it denies them their own cultures & tries to unite them in a single group united by race & not language/religion etc...
And as I said, ANC still has 3000 boers deaths on its hands.

They may not be behind those (it's actually pretty stupid to think this), but they created a climate where it became acceptable & ok. Because, let's face it, black people still resent apartheid, and investigations are not led well enough thus killing boers becomes kind of acceptable.
