FYI: 35 north practically closed starting at the upper/lower split

The problem with those signs is you read them once, normalize their existence, then ignore them for the next week. You don't see the sign then bust out your cell phone while driving and make a calendar notification that Tuesday at 7:30 the roads closed so you should take another route. Not to mention those signs aren't on the onramps, they're when you're already on the damned route. Oh, thanks, I'll uturn right on 35 and take Mopac north instead!

Texas has the worst road signage I've ever experienced. Every time Congress is closed for some parade/event I have to take to twitter and look up some news reporter who is reporting on road closures because the police would rather direct traffic and get yelled at by pissed of commuters who can't find the way to work than put up proper signage.

Don't even get me started on non-emergency vehicles having blue (and red too? I think just blue) flashing lights which is illegal in every other place I've lived. Blue = emergency services, yellow = construction/utility.
