FYI for SW Squadrons, despite it not being mentioned on the store page and multiple retailers only saying "DRM: Origin," Star Wars Squadrons does appear to have Denuvo

From longer load times to frame rate drops, Denuvo’s protection appears to slow things down. Performance sometimes improves by 50% after Denuvo is removed by the developer. At any time the Denuvo servers could go down or go permanently offline and Denuvo protected games will no longer be playable.

'appears to', 'sometimes improves', 'could go down at any time', 'randomly for reasons beyond your control'

Man, that seems a lot like very circumstantial, unreliable fearmongering to me.

Also, performance decrease by 50%? Lmao, come on. You don't actually believe that yourself. There might've been like some weird fringe case of extreme circumstances and coincidences that led to some guy having 50% better performance on a single game.

Denuvo also checks your hardware and the specific model and revision number of your CPU. If you change hardware or switch to another PC,

switched MB, CPU and GPU february this year from i7-4770S, msi z97 gaming 5 and gtx970 to ryzen 7 2700x, gigabyte b450 aorus elite and RTX2060.

No fresh windows install, because I really couldn't be bothered to download 250gb cod mw over 5 days again.

Still, all mentioned games before still worked fine, even in offline mode. In fact, games like assassins creed, shadow of war, batman arkham etc are all games I play pretty much ONLY when my internet is down, since I can comfortably play them with a controller while watching downloaded netflix on 2nd monitor. And apparently all of them still have denuvo (according to this anyway)

I probably have well over 500 hours spend in games that apparently have denuvo in offline mode... Not a single issue, ever. Again, didn't even know they did until I looked it up, because its never ever been a concern.

Everything you're saying is like it could do this, it could do that, it might do X, it may do Y... It seems very bizarre to me to go on such a crusade against it because of like... theoretical worst case scenarios like those. Idk, I personally cannot comprehend that logic/attitude at all.
