FYI: r/lgbt mods are banning people for...actually I'm not really sure why, they won't talk to me. Anyway, link to the convo that apparently got me banned in the comments.

I got banned from r/latestagecapitalism for making a comment about how the police have a history of placing provocateurs into protests & anarchist groups to incite violence so that the police have a justification for use of force against that protest / organization. It was a response to a post by somebody who was saying that all the leftists who aren’t out there buying guns and killing the bourgeoisie are just posers or shills some BS like that.

I asked the mods why they banned me and all they said was “holy liberal bullshit, batman” and blocked me so I couldn’t respond or message them any further.

Anyway, my point is that sometimes propaganda is a slight of hand trick. It would seem that latestagecapitalism is simply anti-capitalist propaganda. But the slight of hand trick is that they ban anybody who is pacifist. They’re not there to convince people that capitalism is bad; they’re there to take people who already know capitalism is bad, and then ostracize anybody who is not violent, and create a tribal identity around the cultural fetishization of violence.
