FYI we're all about to get bent over if this new tax bill passes.

Taxes are rising to raise revenues for the federal budget, the majority of which is for programs Democrats/Liberals like the majority of New Yorkers like.

In 2016 we spent $ 3.8 Trillion

33.26% for Social Security, Unemployment, & Labor 27.42% for Medicare and Medicaid 15.88% for Military 5.97 % for Interest on Debt 4.19% Veteran's Benefits 3.54% Food and Agriculture (Includes Food Stamps) 2.67 % Education 2.22% Transportation 1.6% Housing and Community 1.31 % International Affairs 1.17 % Energy and Environment 0.78% Science

Do we cut Federal spending? Do we city local spending? Or should we raise taxes? I have a feeling if the Obama administration were pushing this tax cut, many people in this city would argue we are paying for Federal programs we use, irrespective of whatever economic output NYC creates.

I'm not looking forward to this new tax plan.
