Fyre Festival attendees should donate their "refunds" to a disaster relief organization.

Most people checking in spent 500-1,000 for their ticket, that's a cheap vacation. If you went on vacation and it was a total scam,I think we all would be upset wanting a refund,I do agree its a shame that there were kids who forgot their manners, acted out,and disrespected the overworked locals trying to help them.

We can't make assumptions about these kids as a whole, when I was helping out at an orphanage in developing country,I met some young kids who where there by themselves doing the same thing I was,but they wanted to do something meaningful on their spring break.

I got lice, went with out food for a couple times, walked everywhere came back to the states weighing 100 lbs. Some people really dont understand how bad things could be,I still will never fully understand what it's like to live in a poor country because I was able to come home,to ac,hot water, electricity that doesn't constantly go out and 24/7 access to water.

I don't know what you do,you're probably a great caring person who does invest their time helping other people, your post obviously has good intentions wanting people to donate their refund, because that would be wonderful for so many struggling people needing aid, maybe this will be a wake up call for some of those kids who never really thought about how their 24 hours are some people's everyday lives and they become more involved with charities and volunteer work.

But we gotta stop assuming things about one another,it's so easy to do and breeds hate. There is so much hate in over this, poor hating poor, middle class hating middle class, middle class judging the poor, poor hating the middle class, while some wealthy involved were able to leave asap and hate on the poor/middle class kids stuck there.

It's just too much.

Not all millennials are entitled brats, like not all baby boomers have the "Let me speak to the manager" attitude.

People around my age,and the up and coming generation, are not all bad, alot do like to give, there was a study shown that more young adults volunteer and donate more than older people. Though I'm sure that has to do with younger people not owning a house or raising kids, but it shows they do not all blow their money on only themselves .

I hope I don't come across as sarcastic or disrespectful. Im sorry if I do.
