The G20 proves it. Because of Donald Trump, the world no longer looks to America for leadership

Right ... 'leadership'. :/

After WWII and a thoroughly destroyed (and looted) Europe (they'd even get themselves space programs out of this), the USA and the USSR became newly emerged superpowers and colluded to divide Europe (and much of the world) between their respective spheres of interest.

If in the part Europe under the US sphere of influence you were placed into NATO, which was under US 'leadership', as opposed to the Warsaw pact, which was under Russian 'leadership'.

Interestingly, when one day the USSR dismantled, there was finally supposed to be a 'peace dividend' (from the world spending less on military expenditures, less spying etc.) but the US decided instead to try to take advantage of the situation ('an opportunity!') to attempt imposing itself and a state constant war, mass-murder, spying, militarised police etc. ... leading to Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. and much more, most of it covert, (murdering peoples who never did anything to them with impunity, ... all creating and fuelling the very terrorism they would use ... ex post facto ... to justify ... war, mass-murder, spying, militarised police etc.

'Leadership'.
