GA resident gets all of their ducks in a row to register to vote and describes the grueling process, resulting in them voting in FL.

I lived in Atlanta for a while. The racial tensions are absolutely horrendous. The upper class white people make all the decisions for the black community, including where public transit goes (preventing mobility), and whether a mall can be placed atop the land your house sits on now. Don't want to move? Tough fucking shit. They want another mall. You'll be dragged off your land kicking and screaming.

It's awful. And if you're white, you're automatically assumed to be like the other white people. I don't blame them. I can't blame them, and no one else with a heart really could, either. Story after story of why taxing, transit, zoning, and more are the way they are broke me down. Racial warfare is a real thing, and the well-to-do white folks have always held down the line with an iron fist.

I know this comment is just a jumbled, brief mess that summarizes things way too simply. I'm not smart enough to really break it all down for you. But believe me when I say it's bad there. It's really bad, and it's unamerican and unacceptable.
