Gabby Windey on Talking It Out (TIO) - recap

Well, first of all...Gabby's background is super impressive imo. To be both an nfl cheerleader & a nurse, living your passions, is awesome. Also the award, very cool. She seems super humble, never taking credit for anything, saying all the nurses/hcw's deserve credit, not her specifically (still, kudos to her for what she does, especially during these times...)

Clearly she wanted to set the record straight asap about her dating history since that's all people are talking about lol. It's not fair to say she's a clout chaser when she just so happened to date or know both guys before they were ever on the show. Super, super strange that she would have a connection with two guys that ended up being big in the franchise tho...like how does that even happen lol?!? Nevertheless, she's gotten a TON of pre-season hype based almost solely on the Dean/Blake connects, so double edge sword I guess?

I like how she owns whatever we'll see on the show, saying its all her and that she wanted to be 100% herself.

I'll have to listen for at least a few mins to see how she actually sounds/comes across, but her answers sound good here.

I feel like my standards for Gabby have been too high bc of all the pre-season discussion & hype, the Dean/Blake stuff, her impressive bio, and the fact that literally everyone had her pegged as either Bachelorette or F1 before we even met her on screen lol. I don't know what I expected or why I was disappointed/didn't like her, but it's prob not fair of me. Sounds like she'll have a pretty big growth arc on the show, so I'll prob end up liking her as I see more of her. But night one was def...kinda strange?

Based on how she describes her Bachelor experience, I'm not getting F1 vibes. It sounds mostly about what she learned and how she grew, happy to have the experience, etc. It's not giving winner & engaged imo. Definitely feels more like she's shooting her shot for Bachelorette and setting up her narrative.
