There is only one instance in which answer could somewhat have an affect on your job if it requires you to go into religious facilities.

For example when they perform minor renovations/repairs on LDS temples they will only let members in good standing with a temple recommend do the renovations/repairs.

The reason for this is because after a temple is built it is dedicated as a holy place where only members in good standing with a temple recommend may enter.

Before it's dedicated they will let anyone in and even will do tours once it's built but before they do the dedication.

With that in mind they may be looking to see if you'd be able to work those types of jobs which would make it similar to an additional certification that would be nice to have but not a necessity.
