Game arecommendations....

Road to dragons. I have stopped playing some time ago but it features beautiful art, a very unique gameplay and a pretty cheerful vibe. It seems to have a comparable if not smaller player base so I would caution against spending money on the rainbow crystals. And choose the light healer as your starter. She works wonders in extremely hard content. But the downside is there are certain units you sort of need to have : mitigator, healer, nuker. But the good thing is that you can use strangers' units' specials so you do not need need those units but they do allow more flexible team building.

Merc Storia. This is rife with grammatical errors and misspelt words but I found to be absolutely charming. The main focus is the guild war that happens at 4 intervals during the day. ( If you want to play the Japanese version search for 'Happy elements K.K )

FFRK. Great great game.

Rune story. This is grindy as fuck. And I don't think there's any way of rerolling. No energy requirements but it gets pretty boring pretty quickly. And I have pretty much given up trying to play it.

Injustice mobile. Or Marvel Future Fight. Personally, Bashing the opposing team into a pulp kind of eases a bit of the sadness the comes with loosing CC.

Unison League. This is fully in Japanese but there's a really helpful subreddit dedicated to it. But remember to link your account after you've rerolled enough to get decent gear/weapons or you'll lose it after you delete the app. I collected and evolved all of the Valentine's Day weapons before having to do a factory reset. When I downloaded it back, I had to start afresh.

Bleach brave souls. This is kind of a no brainier for me. I love bleach. But rerolling is tedious as hell. I didn't manage to get a 5 star character in over 59 rerolls so ya. Will keep trying. Wish me luck.

If you like pay-once games, I'd recommend chaos rings 1,2 and 3. Omega is kind of meh, imo. The third one is very very loosely connected to the previous two and its distinctive bright color palette is a bit hard to get used to after playing the previous ones but it's really good nonetheless.

If you prefer otome games, there are stuff from NNK Playmore but they cost a lot to finish one story chain. I would suggest Hakuoki and Amnesia instead. Really excellent writing and although I'm not exactly gay, I really really dig the stories.
