Do you think a game with Arno, Shay and Connor is still possible?

No, Ubisoft won’t do it. Not unless they could make the game for relatively no money and capitalize big on any nostalgia those past games might’ve had.

But let’s speculate for fun, shall we? Like where would it geographically be set? What year(s)? Historical backdrop? Another massive city like classic AC or a new region like recent AC games? A combination of both? Would we control either Arno, Connor or Shay, split it up like GTA 5, or play as a new assassin? One of the better prospects of this hypothetical game would be all the juicy loose threads that would have to be addressed. Shay left the brotherhood due to Achilles’s crimes of omission. How would that information affect Connor’s ties to the Assassins and the view he had of that particular father figure? Arno would be emotionally motivated to kill Shay, would Connor empathize with Shay’s secession and thus there would a wedge between Connor and Arno’s collaboration? I can imagine Connor and Arno arguing on how to deal with Shay. Shay is also probably the most morally conflicted Templar in the lore so this game would be another great story of who is really good or bad in the Assassin/Templar conflict. And everyone has ample reason to root for both sides of this fight cause most players will have a favorite protagonist they’re attached from the past AC games. Hell, just throw in an Eagle Bearer cameo in there for fun (just kidding).

Could be a great game, just based on narrative drama alone. But Ubisoft only makes games based on market research and recycling assets, not creative ingenuity.
