GamePlanet Interview

Uhm... what? There's no classes in the single player? All characters are "Sentinels" by nature, and you simply choose to opt out of biotics/tech? I feel like this is going to lead to very uniform character builds and less replayability. I've played through ME2 more than a dozen times because each playthrough feels quite a different because each class has access to unique abilities or weapons and therefore unique strengths and weaknesses. If the game devolves into something resembling the "stealth archer" style of Skyrim (all builds morph into one "best build" as you play) I'm going to be disappointed.

When are you hoping to release the multiplayer beta?

Mike Gamble: We're talking dates and times now, so you'll have some information on that pretty quick. We're on the final stretch of deciding which dates to use.

Oh god. I need this. ME3's MP beta was so damn good and from what I've seen, if the core gameplay is anything like M3 I'm so hype for this. I spent far more time with ME3's MP than I did with it's single player, so even if the single player gameplay flops, at least the MP will be there.
