Gameplay/Frametimes of GTA V on Ryzen & Intel (3/3)

I think what he was trying to say is that they're not noticeably different from the spikes on the R7 system, even if the frametime is only 30-50ms.

Clearly the stutter on intel is numerically worse but I don't know if that translates directly to user experience.

I think it's like this- lets use a hypothetical using FPS instead of frametime since most people understand that better.

Imagine that you're playing GTA VI and your intel system gets .01 frames, and your AMD system gets .1 frames. Even though the FPS is literally 10x higher on the AMD system, to an actual user there's no difference- they're just both unplayable garbage.

Maybe to the user, stutter is stutter and the difference between being 100 ms late and 50ms is negligible because the baseline suckiness of stutter is so much more significant than whether one stutter is 50ms longer than other (and I don't think it even works that way, since length of stutter isn't directly equal to frametime due to the thing he mentioned about the previous frame rendering after the current).
