This is a show that could do with taking a breather here and there, just to make sure that the viewer isn't overloaded with fantasy jargon and teased prophecies

I found this point really interesting. Think this will be one of the “biggest” challenges for the show. While the first book may be complicated at first read, the long journey that different groups went through after the split at Shador logath as well as the descriptive nature of RJ’s storytelling kinda warms up the reader to both the characters and the world. Cramping all this into 6 episode, well, will be very challenging. And if previous leaks are to be trusted, the show rushed through that journey and went straight to Tarvalon; skipping both Baerlon and Caemlyn, something I am not a fan of if true.
