Gamergates favourite right wing site gets a game censored for content they don't like

I might have misread the linked article, or the initial review of the game, but it didn't seem like Breitbart was trying to force the developers to change the game. If I missed the author of either of the articles calling for censorship please let me know because I don't want to be mistaken.

I don't see GGer's apparent lack of outrage at them as being hypocritical because I don't see the initial review as a call for censorship or an attempt to restrict other's speech.

It isn't a violation of another's free speech to criticize what they say. The developers of the game included a fictionalized version of the Tea Party (or a similar group seemingly based off it), and Breitbart criticized them for that.

I don't agree with what the initial article on the game said, but I wouldn't call it a call for censorship of the content the author didn't like.

I have seen GamerGaters accuse 'SJWs' of censorship or shout "FREEZE PEACH" when 'SJWs' (meaning non-ggers) criticize sexism or racism in video games, for example. And now I see people who aren't GamerGaters accusing gamergate of not caring about censorship or free speech because a site GG seems to like wrote an article criticizing the inclusion of a fictionalized Tea Party in a video game, and another article about how the developer removed 'tea party references' from the game after Breitbart criticized it. Not necessarily due to their criticism, although Breitbart speculates

it appears someone at Visceral Games or EA was uncomfortable with the attention that our report elicited and removed the content in question as a result.

I'm just tired of people saying "censorship!" and "free speech violation!" when those things aren't what a matter is about.
