Gamers Are Organizing a Mass Protest at Blizzard's BlizzCon

Nice, ruin an event people have paid a lot of money to go to, possibly saved up for and booked time off work because Blizzard didn't want politics on their broadcast.

You know it's possible to feel empathy for the people in Hong Kong without bringing your politics into gaming, something that people usually go to get away from real life stress and events. Something people go to immerse themselves in worlds of fantasy and adventure.

But you can also feel empathy for the people from around the world that are going to Blizzcon... Something people have waited all year to go to or possibly years if they have never gone before at all. You can also feel for the developers that have spent a lot of time and love into making some of the games they are going to showcase at this Blizzcon that had NO PART in the decision that executives made.

If they want to come and protest that's fine. It's their right. But if I see any innocent people being blocked from getting in, or any developers being shouted at and treated like garbage. A lot of people are going to be pissed off and don't be surprised if they retaliate.
