Gamers of Reddit, What did a game do to make you quit completely?

I started playing a tabletop wargame, and just curb stomped people who had been playing for years. I didn't win every game, but when I did it was just ugly.

I had no idea what I was doing, made really dumb mistakes, but the dice just worked out so that I could take out that pesky sniper with my missile launcher from across the board. Or my glass cannon squad leader could charge 5 soldiers trying to gun him down, and hed dodge his way to them and take them out. I had been playing with a guy who had been showing me the ropes, explaining the rules to me, and he was getting frustrated. It wasn't just one time, this was over the course of probably 10 games, and he finally just said "playing against you isn't fun" and he was right, it was kind of bullshit.

Ive looked back and realized that at least in one instance I misunderstood a rule, and was letting my army do something they absolutely shouldn't have been able to do. So maybe I'll go back and try to win fairly someday.

But yeah, the answer to the question "what did the game do to make you quit?" Let me win. Apparently I have a hard time emotionally processing success lol.
