Gamers of Reddit, what game do you think has the most toxic community and why?

Without a doubt: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I've never played League of Legends ranked, so I don't know what that's like. But in CS, I have well over 1500 hours. I'm safe to say that that game changed me as a person. In 2015-2016, CS was the only thing I played. I played every evening, every night and eventuallt got myself up in the higher ranks. This was when I started to see true toxicity. Before, in around Master Guardian 1-Elite it had been simple cussing but here, people went right mad. Everything wasn't their fault. Everyone else sucked. Did something good? Complete silence. Did something bad? Complete Outrage. People calling hacks constantly just because you hit a lucky shot. People never left games or rage-quitted, and were certainly very good. It wasn't that. The problem was that for them, being toxic while playing simply seemed like a part of the game. So after a while, I became toxic too. I started playing more and more. I got mad at everything nitpicky. I, too, became infested with the toxicity like it was some sort of plague. It took me about two months until I understood that it wasn't fun anymore. Who gave a shit if I was Legendary Eagle Master, if I wasn't fun to play with? Why should I play a team game and cuss out my team for minor reasons? Why should I spend my evenings simply being mad? It was then, around February of 2016, that I decided to take a nine month break. Yup. I uninstalled, and didn't touch the game again for nine months. I still play it from time to time, but it taught me a valuable lesson about respect and me as a human. Oh, and I was just getting into puberty. Maybe that played a part as well.
