Gamers of Reddit, what is your most intense or heart racing video game moment?

I played a top down spaceship shooter called Subspace/Trenchwars. You can literally see every bomb/bullet/mine and are expected to dodge, and actually aim for real. This game is amazingly fun btw. I have a couple really good memories.

I specialized in a ship that shoots a bomb that will bounce 1x then explode the next time it hits something, and you can shoot bullets out of the rear of the ship. TWJD(trench wars javelin duel) is 4vs4 or 5vs5 in those ships, you get 10 deaths then you are done.

3x me and a friend played 2vs4 won. They were always super intense games. It is ridiculously hard to play down 2 players because whenever you shoot or thrust(speed up) it takes a bit of your energy, and if your energy hits 0 you die.

Another time in an base elimination free for all game where its everyone vs everyone, your are eliminated at 10 deaths, I watched a guy go something like 32-0, it was insane. I played the game for like 10 years and only saw people get 30 kills a hand-full of times. It was one of the most impressive feats of video game skill I've ever seen. Coincidentally I got 29 kills 3x, and twice the other guy spec'd(removed himself from game) when he had lives left just so I couldn't get 30.

When ffxi first came out I played with a friend, in the very early game there is a graveyard where you are supposed to go, well there is an entrance to a MUCH higher level area there, me and friend went into it on accident and got slaughtered, Im not sure why this one sticks out so much, maybe because it was just so hilarious to us. I think name was 'King ranperrer's tomb'
