Games that didn't click on you

I've had a few.

Valkyria Chronicles: Liked it at first but hated the way that you essentially had to rush scouts to the enemy flag to get the best rating. The game didn't seem to reward playing it any other way. I really enjoyed moving my squad up more cautiously and taking out all enemies but the feeling of being punished for doing so bugged me.

Hollow Knight: I liked a lot of things about this game but just found myself getting really frustarted after a few hours. Had one boss that I couldn't beat after loads and loads of attempts and just lost interest.

Dragons Dogma: Again there was stuff I liked about this game, the pawn system particularly was a cool idea, but I just found it to be a boring game. Played most of the way though and just couldn't be bothered finishing it because it had gotten so boring.

So in the case of these 3 games I didn't think they were bad games, they all had redeeming qualities but their flaws became more frustrating as I played through them. I'm still open to revisiting all 3 at some point.
