Gamespot's Bayonetta 2 Review - 10/10 "It is a masterclass in pure, unadulterated action-game design."

No it wasn't.

While I get that each reviewer is entitled to give their personal views and scores, and that's how the company operates. But I feel like reviewing a port that is (at least) better than the original version, should at minimal receive the same score. Unless it was doing something drastic - it shouldn't really get a bump up in the score.

Granted - a score system is irrelevant and all of this is largely subjective in the first place. No one persons opinion should dictate the purchase of a game or not. Everyone likes different arts and have different tastes. But as a company who thrives on this content - they should at least do it better.
