Gaming computer $1000-1100

This is $40 over budget, and doesnt have the blackwidow chroma included cuz you cant put a $170 keyboard in a $1100 build, you miss out on too much performance. You can save money by buying some of these parts used if you need to save $40.

Anyway, about the build. This is an amazing gaming processor that will almost never bottleneck in todays games. You can overclock it really well w/ the cooler. Motherboard is a bundle at microcenter $200 for the processor and $50 for the board - great deal.

Standard RAM, SSD boot drive for shorter load times. Generic 1TB HDD for save files. GTX 970 in this build - this GPU can crush 1080p gaming and does pretty well at higher resolutions. it's nvidia, and it's good, but i would recommend not limiting yourself to nvidia in the future. doesnt matter too much in this scenario, but you could lose a lot of performance by sticking w/ only one brand.

Generic black case w/ a window. the LED controller will allow you to put a bunch of LEDs in your case and control them from the outside or automatically and you can do every color, not just orange.

Also you should really get windows 8.1, it's faster in games in benchmarks and a faster OS in general than windows 7.

But yeah, this build will destroy.
