CPU is your standard gaming processor. This one is unlocked which allows for overclocking.

The CPU cooler is a legendary staple for overclocking on a budget.

This motherboard is probably the cheapest you should go for a quality overclocking board.

Your existing memory is great and will work fine for this build.

This is a fantastic SSD. It allows for quick boots and load times in games with large textures.

This HDD is pretty standard for mass storage.

For your GPU, you could go with any 970 really. Find the cheapest one and make sure it doesn't have a reference cooler.

This case is personal preference. Reviewers rave about its ease to build in, its clean aesthetics, and fantastic cable management. Note that it doesn't have an optical disk bay, so you'll have to install windows with a USB drive. If you want a different case, the Corsair 200R, and NZXT S210 elite & 220 are good options. I wouldn't spend any less than $50, and be sure to watch some video reviews.

This PSU is on the lower spectrum of power supplies, but its good for the price and purpose.

The only real purchasing requirement here is that you have to get the i5 and the motherboard together at Micro Center in store in order to get this price.
