In the last episode they talked about a pitch for the sunny ending that someone gave the creators.

Thought of one ages ago so here it is.

So my pitch for the ending even sharing this prob makes it impossible for them to use it.

A typical episode occurs with not much out of ordinary where the gang formulate a plan within paddy’s that involves some sort of explosive plot in-sighted by Charlie.

The gang all begin working on this plot and before they can get it into motion the entire paddy’s pub blows up. Killing them all instantly, think it would be funny if this happened pretty quickly and unexpectedly.

They have been shown to have disabled the safety alarms so I think a frank lighting a cigarette or firing his gun could be a funny ignition.

The only person not in the bar at the time of the explosion would be Charlie Kelly. He would be the first one to find paddy’s in ruin and all the emergency services.

The last scene would be Charlie in his apartment still talking to the ghosts of his former friends and he sings a slow rendition of I like life in paddy’s pub.

Needs the kinks ironed out but what do y’all think? Also fan ending pitches could make a good write in section.
