[Garafolo] The Vikings are hiring Ryan Grigson for a senior role in the football personnel department, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. The former Colts GM has served as a personnel exec for the Browns (alongside Kwesi Adolfo-Mensah) and Seahawks since his five-year stint in Indy.

Ryan Grigson working in any front office again is utter bullshit. It's not just incompetence, it's his worse track record with interpersonal relationships. Some people are just toxic, capable of ruining cultures and lowering the bar, just with their presence and personality. Ryan Grigson became such a toxic presence in Indianapolis, he even impacted the performance of the team. Grigson's toxicity drove players out of the organization, either through retirement, or walking away in free agency. It's key to understand that players made these decisions. He is not just a bad general manager, he is not just a toxic presence, he hurts the chemistry and morale of the team. It's why a general manager with 49-31 record, multiple playoff appearances, and an AFC championship appearance was fired after two mediocre seasons. He's spent the last several years working shit office jobs for the Browns. He spent a season with the Seahawks, who likely realized he was garbage, and cut him loose.

The Vikings can do much better than Ryan Grigson. This hire is a big misstep by Menseh.

Oh, and if you still aren't convinced Ryan Grigson is a toxic, unprofessional clown... Ryan Grigson started Deflategate. He filed the official complaint that kicked off that whole mess.
