Gareth Bale is exactly what united has lacked which is a talisman and imo united didn't have a Talisman since C.Ronaldo and before him it was Van nistolrooy and before him Beckham and before him Cantona and before him G.Best. Bale will assume that role while both UCL and PL becomes winnable.

In My opinion Gareth bale will not just enter the dressing room to be part of it but he will enter the dressing room to make this team his and automatically if this team loses he will eat most shit and relieve pressure from the others. He can easily score 25-30 goals a season if you launch many crosses into the box and feed him properly. He can also single handedly take matters into his own and score solos.

His a beast and you gotta let beasts do beast stuff and imo he can be used as the main striker or on the wings since his way more lethal then Martial will ever be as striker cause he has that killer instinct Martial lacks or any forward player in the United squad currently
