[GEAR] Favorite thing I own - Epiphone Les Paul Custom Prophecy EX

Get the Les Paul Tribute. It's got Gibson Pickups (Classic 57s covered) which happen to be my favorite. If I only owned 1 Plustop and 1 Tribute, that would be enough for me (well I like my Epi Custom too).

My Plustop Pros are great too though, just with the BurstBuckers or whatever they are.

You're not missing out on anything IMO getting an Epiphone except the headstock. I just happen to make absurd amounts of money and switched from buying computer shit to buying music gear the last 4-5 years (amazing how much computer shit I used to buy).

You can find deals on Gibson Les Pauls too.

My cheapest Gibsons LPs:

2014 Standard Premium Ocean Water 1592.76 (didn't come with the case, so that was ~200 to get a proper Gibson one). Does all the standard swtiching, coil tap, out of phase, skip tone switching.

2013 Traditional Pro II (GC/MF version) Vintage Sunburst 1284.74 (bought this for my nephew since I was giving him guitar lessons on my borrowed Epi LP. He never bothered learning so I kept it, lol) came with proper case. Very 50s feel to it, super weighty but does the coil splitting if memory serves (packed up right now so I can't double check)

2013 Signature T Wine Red 1299.00 came with proper case. Has uncovered 57s, very hot prefer them covered. Does coil tapping (works best on uncovered IMO for authentic sound).

So there are deals to be had! All the rest cost 2k+ though. I think my most expensive is my 59 Standard.
