[GEAR] Is the Yamaha THR10X still relevant and good for the ~$250 price tag?

The THR10II should be about the same price and has the same emulations of all three of the first-gen THRs.

That said, the "WL" version (plus a G10T) made a dramatic difference in my playing. All I need is a guitar, the THR and the G10T dongle and I can play anywhere for hours. No cables, no wires, no electricity needed. And it charges the G10T so worst case I only need one cable anyway.

Stream backing tracks from Spotify/Youtube through it or just use it as a wireless bluetooth speaker.

I also have a Blackstar HT60 Soloist 1x12 tube amp and sure the THR isn't remotely comparable if you want "feeling" or sheer volume, but I can't grab the Blackstar with one hand and run out the door and play on the beach for 6 hours.

Theres also the THR30II WL, which has line out
