A gem I found on Facebook. I want so bad for it to be real.

Never understood the class attendance requirement to pass a course (aside from departmental/government regulations).

In undergrad, I missed 13 classes - Made A's on the mid-term and on the Final.... professor knocked me down to a D for absences. Told me I could get it back if I wrote a one page essay on each of the topics from the semester... Did that and he said, thanks -- I'm still not changing your grade... you'll never succeed with this attitude. Seems petty and in fact, in the real world the most successful people are the ones that get to the best solution with the least effort. If the student is paying tuition and passes the course without attending, how is the student to blame?

Don't know the story here... just an opportune time to vent about something from 15 years ago ;) Don't down vote me bro.
