Best way to combat that is buy whatever you l like no matter what section it is in. The colors for boys and girls literally has been mainly dictated by the stores trying to sell more baby clothing. It started long ago most all babies and small children wore white dresses, boys and girls. Easier to help them poo and pee and easy to clean cuz you can bleach the heck out of it and scrub it without loss of color.
enter big stores trying to sell more clothing....and it began with ok boys will wear PINK and girls BLUE!!! No joke. It used to be opposite colors for the female and male sections. They wanted families to start buying separate for each gender to sell more clothing. If both genders wore the same, they didn't sell as much. and that is how it all began......at some point it switched to pink for girls and blue for boys and yellow and green being gender neutrals. But we can mix it all up now! yay! Just do what you want and eventually it will change again cuz all they care about is selling clothes.
